DeWitt High School - Class of 1986

Last update on 3/24/10

It's a sad time - Class of 1986 has lost it's first classmate.  Pete Insel passed away on March 23, 2010.  Peter had been ill for some time, and was recently under Hospice care.  Pete was a friend to many and will be missed.

The time is getting closer - #25 will be here next year!  So start thinking up ideas & send me an e mail!

Hey Alumni! Remember those big, hand painted murals, that hung in our middle school cafeteria? The new principal doesn't have them displayed in the cafeteria anymore, and who knows what fate awaits them! Don't think that's cool? Let the School !!! Call - 517.668.3350 -- and ask the principal where they are & what is going to happen to them! These are pieces of our childhood, and our history. People need to quit destroying things just because they're 'old'!!!

Anyone up for breakfast??  Requests have been made to put something together!  Now that the Flap Jack Shack has re-opened, that may be a good location.  Or rumor has it that Guerazzi's has a good Breakfast Buffet on Saturday's.  Who's game???  Let me know!!

Ideas for the 25th? E mail me - madamsheri@aol.com

Class of '86 is growing on Facebook!!  I'd love to get address's for those listed above, for our 25th in 2011!!

Don't forget to let me know if you move! Have a recent pic? Send it to me in an e mail, and I'll add it to our class page.

It has been suggested that we do our Silver Reunion somewhere else besides the DeWitt area.  Something like Mackinac Island, Traverse City, Mackinaw City, Detroit area?  Somewhere that we could make a real fun trip weekend out of it, whether it was you and a few classmates, you & the better half, or as a family.  No Las Vegas, and no cruise!  It has to be in Michigan, since that's where the majority of the class resides.  Lots of classmates have offered to have input, so there's lots of time for ideas.
